I’ve spent years shaping spaces – literally! Since 2013, I’ve had the privilege of leading first Construction focused with a passion for craftsmanship, design harmony and client trust in every project.
My journey began in the world of precision custom millwork. This is where my appreciation for the process of having a vision took root. My success has also drawn from my experience in our family’s landscape company, allowing me to bring a unique, detail driven, woman’s perspective to every project integrating the blend of interior and exterior design seamlessly.
With hands-on experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of design, building, and the art of transforming spaces. Whether crafting a new home, remodeling an existing one, or expanding living areas into the outdoors, I thrive on bringing each client’s vision to life. Creativity fuels my approach, ensuring every project is both functional and beautifully tailored to those who call it home.
I believe every space tells a story – and I love helping people write theirs. Whether it’s a new build, a renovation, or a backyard transformation, my goal is simple: to create spaces that truly feel like a home.

From Lincoln Logs to LEGO cars to full-scale homes, I’ve always loved bringing ideas to life through building and design. I didn’t originally set out to be a residential designer, but when my mom suggested Architectural Design in college, it just clicked—and nearly 30 years later, I still can’t imagine doing anything else.
After spending 17 years at a design firm, I realized what was missing: seeing my designs come to life. That’s what drew me to First Construction, where I not only get to create the vision but also oversee the build from the ground up. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a plan on paper become a home where families will live, gather, and grow.
As both a designer and general contractor, I bring a unique perspective to each project. I work closely with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure every detail meets specifications, building codes, and—most importantly—the homeowner’s vision. At First Construction, Jen and I focus on more than just building homes; we build relationships. By being hands-on from day one, we’ve earned the trust and loyalty of our clients, which is something we’re incredibly proud of.
